Change Management Professional Certification

 

 

The marketplace has many “professionals” that specialize in guiding organizations through change. But are they qualified? How do experts stand out and organizations find them?

Since its inception five years ago, the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) members have requested a certification program to set them apart in the marketplace. A certification that not only validated knowledge but also the experience and expertise that proves an individual’s ability to apply change management successfully.

​

ACMP rose to the challenge as it adopted guidelines established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to ensure the certification program would be above reproach.

Mission accomplished. With the launch of the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) on May 15, 2016 ACMP provides a program for change management professionals with at least three years of experience who can demonstrate they are investing in their ongoing development and can apply their experience to successfully respond to change management situations. Following an evaluation of experience, successful completion of essay questions and an exam, CCMP certificants must maintain their status through ongoing training, teaching  and giving back to the change management community.

The CCMP was developed based on ACMP’s industry-leading Standard for Change Management which defines best practice – the result of extensive worldwide research also conducted in accordance with ISO guidelines.
